Wenger Vieli advises Adresta on the sale to Bucherer

Wenger Vieli has advised the technology start-up Adresta on all Swiss tax and legal matters during the sale to the Lucerne-based Bucherer. The blockchain start-up Adresta, which is based in Technopark Zurich, will be fully integrated into Bucherer Group with immediate effect.

Adresta’s blockchain-based digital certificates of authenticity will be further developed under the umbrella of the luxury watch and jewellery retailer. Customers will benefit exclusively from even more online services in the future. With this acquisition, the Swiss luxury retailer is setting an important milestone in the expansion of its entire digital offering and shopping experience for customers of luxury watches and jewellery.

The Wenger Vieli team was led by partner Michael Baier (venture capital/m&a, pictured) and included Barbara Brauchli Rohrer (partner, tax), Jonas Bühlmann (senior associate, tax), Dominique Mattmann (associate, venture capital/m&a), Dorian Loosli (legal advisor, m&a/venture capital) and Amina Ouakrim (junior lawyer).
