Wenger Vieli announces two new partners

Wenger Vieli brings two new partners on board as of 1 January 2024: Peter Hafner and Clara Bodemann. The new partners will strengthen the firm in the areas of litigation and arbitration, as well as VAT law.

Peter Hafner specialises in civil litigation in commercial and business law cases. The focus of his practice is on representing the interests of companies in the financial and commercial sectors in proceedings before state courts and arbitration tribunals. He has broad experience in the field of international civil procedure and legal assistance in civil and criminal matters. He also advises and represents companies in disputes between companies and employees and in internal investigations. Until now he has been partner at Wartmann Werter for 17 years.

Clara Bodemann, who is actually counsel at the firm, specialises in Swiss VAT law. She advises clients on VAT issues, in particular in connection with tax planning, restructuring, company acquisitions and sales, real estate transactions as well as VAT issues in the financial sector. She assists clients during VAT inspections by the Federal Tax Administration and conducts appeal proceedings.
