Werder Viganò welcomes Andreas Mikos and Matthias Bürge as new partners

As of January 2021, Werder Viganò welcomes Andreas Mikos and Matthias Bürge as new partners.

Andreas Mikos (pictured left) has been part of the team since 2015. His practice focuses on intellectual property, contract, corporate, commercial and labour law. In these areas of law, he also represents our clients before state courts, administrative authorities and arbitral tribunals. Andreas Mikos graduated in law from the University of Zurich in 2015. During his studies he worked in an IT consulting firm, a law firm and in the legal department of a social insurance institution.

 Matthias Bürge (pictured right) moves to Werder Viganò after more than 20 years at Prager Dreifuss, where he became partner in 2008. His core work lies in Swiss and international transactions (company acquisitions and disposals, restructuring). He also has extensive experience in advising both banks and borrowers in connection with complex acquisition financing (structured finance). Bürge studied at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, and received his law degree in 1995. From 1995 to 1999, he held various positions at the District Court of Zurich, last as court clerk with special assignments and substitute judge. While working at the court, Matthias Bürge was admitted to the bar in 1998.
