Xavier Favre-Bulle appointed President of the Court of the SCAI
Lenz & Staehelin’s partner Xavier Favre-Bulle (pictured) has been appointed President of the Court of the Swiss Chambers’ Arbitration Institution (SCAI) as of 1st January 2021.
Favre-Bulle has 25 years of experience in dispute resolution (arbitration as counsel or arbitrator, ADR, court litigation). He has been involved in more than 235 arbitrations (e.g. sales agreements, agency & distribution, licences, joint ventures, shareholders agreements, post-M&A disputes, etc., in various business industries such as energy, construction, luxury goods, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, banking, sports, etc.). At Lenz & Staehelin in Geneva, he leads the Arbitration group and the Sports law group.
SCAI is a neutral and independent dispute resolution institution set up by the main Swiss Chambers of Commerce, which provides domestic and international dispute resolution services based on the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration and the Swiss Rules of Mediation.
