Xeltis raises EUR 15 million from The European Investment Bank

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has signed a EUR 15 million quasi-equity financing agreement with Xeltis, a Swiss-Dutch medtech firm developing medical devices enabling cardiovascular restoration. The EIB’s non-dilutive financing will support the acceleration of clinical programmes for three of Xeltis’ revolutionary, restorative devices.

Wenger Vieli advised Xeltis on all Swiss tax and legal aspects alongside their partners in the Netherlands Bond Advocaten, Joannes de Bont and Florestan van ‘t Hek, venturelawyers.  Wenger Vieli was led by Beat Speck (partner, m&a, pictured) and included Barbara Brauchli Rohrer (partner, tax) and Alessa Waibel (financial services).
