Zur Rose Group acquires mail-order and diabetes activities of Apotal Group: the advisors

Zur Rose, a Swiss drugs wholesaler, announced that it has acquired the mail-order and diabetes activities of Germany-based Apotal Group.

Apotal, based in Bad Rothenfelde (Germany) was founded in 1980 by Heinz-Peter Fichter. Through the acquisition 1.1 million active customers will be transferred to Zur Rose subject to giving their consent. Expanding the client base to more than 8 million active customers will solidifiy the market leadership of Zur Rose Group in Europe.

The teams

A CMS team headed by lead partner Christoph Lächler (CMS Germany – pictured) advised the founder of the Apotal Group, Heinz-Peter Fichter, and other shareholders on all legal aspects of the sales process. The team further included partner Daniel Jenny (CMS Switzerland).
