Lenz & Staehelin advises Unilabs in Proxilis acquisition

Unilabs, a leading diagnostic services provider, has announced it entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Proxilis, a diagnostics laboratory based in Geneva. The transaction closed in December 2022.

The operator of test centres and laboratories has acquired the company Proxilis in Meyrin, specialised in medical analysis. The Proxilis laboratory will soon be renamed Unilabs.

For Unilabs, the interest is to benefit from the knowledge and local presence on the right bank of a laboratory such as Proxilis. This company currently employs 25 people. In the canton of Geneva, Unilabs Switzerland has a laboratory in Champel and about ten sampling centres.

Lenz & Staehelin advised Unilabs in this transaction.
