Bär & Karrer advises Revendo with the investment of Migros

Migros-Group invests in the Swiss start-up Revendo, the Swiss market leader in the field of upcycling electronic devices.

Sparrow Ventures, Venture Builder and growth capital investor of the Migros Group, is investing in the Swiss start-up. The young company has succeeded in building up a flourishing business and has positioned itself as the number one in Switzerland for second-hand electronic devices. Its track record includes an online shop, ten branded shops and some 140 employees. Convinced of the potential of circular and sustainable business models, Migros is giving a clear signal in favour of the circular economy with the purchase of Revendo shares. The company buys used electrical appliances from private individuals and companies and prepares them for further use.

The team of Bär & Karrer was co-led by Christoph Neeracher (pictured left) and Lukas Bründler (pictured right) and included Carlo Hunter, Romina Lauper and Patrick Zumsteg (all m&a), Susanne Schreiber and Patrick Schmid (both tax), Mani Reinert and Tim Meyer (both competition) as well as Özden Omürcan (notarial services).
