Bär & Karrer advises Horn & Company on the acquisition of GEM

Horn & Company, a portfolio company of Waterland Private Equity, has entered into a quota purchase agreement in order to acquire GEM Consulting from its founders. This transaction enables Horn & Company – in cooperation with the founders – to expand and strengthen its management consulting services in the banking and insurance sector in Switzerland as well as in Germany and Austria. The transaction will be completed in the upcoming weeks.

Bär & Karrer acts as legal advisor to Horn & Company in this transaction. The team is co-led by partners Christoph Neeracher (pictured right) and Philippe Seiler (pictured left) and includes Li Wei Dutler and Dominique Nguyen (all m&a), Susanne Schreiber, Anke Stumm, Julian Hodel and Ollin Söllner (all tax), Laura Widmer and Sandra Schaffner (both employment), Christine Schweikard (IP and IT) as well as Rehana Harasgama (data protection).
