Wenger Vieli advises Rapidata on the latest financing round

Rapidata, pioneering the creation of a human brain in the cloud, has raised CHF 1.5 million in a funding round led by BlueYard. The investment, supported by Acequia Capital and an angel investor, will empower the company to build a “human processing unit in the cloud” and propel its platform to the forefront of AI data annotation and human data processing.

Rapidata provides a system to process huge amounts of data with human intelligence within minutes. The start-up does not rely on a fixed workforce. Instead, they have a network consisting of millions of people around the world to filter, annotate and validate the data, thus creating a human brain in the cloud.  

Wenger Vieli has advised Rapidata on all Swiss legal matters during its financing round. The team was led by partner Michal Baier (venture capital/m&a, pictured) and included associates Michelle Wiki, Andrea Christen and Kianoush Sadeghi (all venture capital/m&a) as well as junior lawyer Pharin Mos Wyler.
