Jasprit Sahnsi named Group General Counsel at Selecta Group 

Selecta Group, a KKR portfolio company, has appointed Jasprit Sahnsi (pictured) as its new Group General Counsel. 

Having initially joined Selecta Group in 2018 as the Group Deputy General Counsel, Sahnsi has demonstrated exceptional skills and leadership during her tenure. In 2022, she was appointed as the Deputy General Counsel & Internal Audit Leader, where she continued to excel in her responsibilities.

Commenting on her new appointment, Sahnsi said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be promoted to Group General Counsel at Selecta and work closely with a leading management team. I’ve always said, this is not a job for me but a gift in which I can demonstrate true leadership everyday and encourage others to dream big.”

Starting her legal career as a solicitor at EMW Law in the United Kingdom, she gained valuable experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, restructuring, banking, and due diligence. 

Transitioning to an in-house counsel position at gategroup, Sahnsi’s work scope encompassed Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Throughout her almost 10-year tenure with gategroup, she held several high-responsibility roles, including Manager Legal Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel. In these roles, she played a pivotal role in handling legal matters across Western Europe, South Africa, and the Middle East. 

Beyond her impressive professional achievements, Sahnsi is also widely recognized for her active involvement in the legal industry. She currently serves as a Board Member of the Association of Corporate Counsel Europe, showcasing her dedication to promoting legal excellence. Additionally, she serves as one of the Country Representatives for Switzerland, further highlighting her commitment to advancing the legal landscape.
