BGPartner appoints Thomas Gysin as partner
BGPartner has promoted Thomas Gysin to the partnership, with the appointment taking effect on 1 July 2026. Gysin has been with the firm since 2020.
His practice focuses on negotiation, national and international contract law, and corporate, commercial and capital markets law, including M&A, private equity and venture capital. Before moving into private practice, he spent more than ten years in legal and commercial roles at national and international companies.
Most recently, Gysin advised Araris Biotech on its acquisition by Japan’s Taiho Pharmaceutical, a deal with a total value of up to USD 1.1 billion.
