ABB has acquired Codian Robotics: the advisor

ABB has acquired Codian Robotics, a Netherlands-based company engaged in providing delta robots for high-precision pick and place applications, from Mr. Freek Hartman. The acquisition is in line with ABB’s strategy to focus on providing automation technology to its clients.

Codian Robotics complements ABB’s offerings in pharma, logistics and food & beverage segments & supports machine-centric robotics services. Similarly, the transaction allows Codian to leverage ABB’s expertise & presence to offer its portfolio on a global scale. ABB is likely to provide broader range of delta robots as well as integrated solutions together integrating automation & robot control in to a single platform.
