Veeam Software has acquired Kasten from Insight Partners: the advisors

Switzerland-based software company offering backup, replication and virtualization management solutions Veeam Software has acquired Kasten from Insight Partners. Veeam paid USD 150m consideration in a cash and stock deal. The transaction enables both companies to speed the production deployment of container-based applications using data management platform.

Willkie Farr & Gallagher acted as legal advisor to Veeam Software. Internally, for Veeam the operation was followed by William H Largent (CEO) and Chuck Garner (CFO). 

Insight Partners managing director and general counsel Blair Flicker followed the operation for the seller.
