Altenburger strengthens its legal team

Isabelle Meyer and Laura Benhammou have joined Altenburger as senior associates. Isabelle Meyer (pictured left) is specialized in domestic and international litigation and she also has broad experience in internal and regulatory investigations, including anti-money laundering, and in white collar crime matters. Meyer works in the Dispute Resolution Team as well as the Banking, Finance & FinTech Team and is based at the Zurich’s office. Prior to this she worked as associate at Homburger and as legal counsel at UBS.

Laura Benhammou’s practice primarily covers banking and financial regulations, including anti-money laundering and collective investment schemes regulations. Benhammou (pictured right) has further developed an expertise in data protection law, in particular in respect of financial institutions. Her expertise in this field extends to European regulation on data protection (GDPR). She also advises foreign financial institutions on their cross-border activities conducted in Switzerland. Before joining the law firm, she worked as associate at FBT Avocats and as associate at Lenz & Staehelin.
