Astrid Waser co-chair the ASCOLA Conference on the Future of Swiss and European Merger Control

On June 2, 2022, Astrid Waser will co-chair the first annual conference of ASCOLA Swiss Chapter regarding the Future of Swiss and European Merger Control which will take place in Zurich. The event will feature renowned speakers from Switzerland, the EU and the US. ASCOLA is the Academic Society for competition law.

Astrid Waser is a Lenz & Staehelin partner in the Competition, Regulated Market and Investigation group in Zurich and leading practitioner in this field. She specializes in all aspects of competition (anti-trust) law, public procurement law, media and telecoms law and compliance. Waser also advices on regulatory, administrative and internal investigations, including sexual harassment investigations, and has a long-standing experience in the field of compliance matters. She advises in non-contentious matters and represents clients before Swiss authorities and courts, in particular in investigations and infringement procedures of the Swiss Competition Commission as well as in merger filings and in public procurement procedures. Waser is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars. She has been recognised by Global Competition Review as one of the worldwide Leading Women in Antitrust 2021.
