Baker McKenzie advised Duagon in Tech On Rails’ acquisition

Duagon, a Swiss-based company, has acquired Mni Tech On Rails, a Spain-based company engaged in conception and design of railway signaling systems. The acquisition will enable Duagon to enhance its geographical footprint and capabilities in railway engineering solutions and software services.

A cross-border team of Baker McKenzie advised Duagon on all Spanish and Swiss legal aspects. The team was lead by partners Dr. Alexander Fischer (in Zurich – pictured) and Maite Diez (in Madrid). The Swiss team included senior associate Philip Spoerlé, associate Marianne Müller (both banking and finance) and counsel Mario Kumschick (tax). The Spanish team included special counsel Alba Anegon, associate Elena Piquero (both corporate and m&a) and partner Jaime Martinez-Iniguez (tax). The whole team inclued as well partner Oliver Socher and associate Silke Fritz (both banking and finance) from Frankfurt.
Gomez-Acebo & Pombo Abogados acted as legal advisor to Mni Tech On Rails. The team was led by partners Alvaro Mateo and Alba Perez (both corporate).
