Baker McKenzie advised the Zurich-based Meier Capital, the principal shareholder of SIX Swiss Exchange listed Meier Tobler Group in a subscription rights offering for shares in Meier Tobler to the existing shareholders of Meier Tobler.
The offering allowed subscription rights to be exercised at a price of CHF 8.90 per Meier Tobler share. The subscription period ended on 31 August 2020.The public shareholders of Meier Tobler exercised 59.2 percent of the subscription rights. The shareholding of Meier Capital in Meier Tobler thus decreased to 56.5 percent, while the free float rose from 27.2 percent to 43.5 percent.
