Baker McKenzie advises Norline on Engitec acquisition
Baker McKenzie Switzerland advised Norline, a Swiss provider of technical building services backed by the independent European private equity group Argos, on the acquisition of a majority stake in Engitec, a Swiss company active in the renewable energy sector.
Through the transaction, Norline expands its capabilities in sustainable energy infrastructure and strengthens its position in the Swiss building technology market.
The companies
Norline is a Swiss provider of technical building services, headquartered in Neuhausen am Rheinfall with an operational centre in Glattbrugg. The company offers services in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and sanitary systems.
Engitec, based in Winterthur, is active in the renewable energy sector, focusing on the consulting, planning, installation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems, energy storage solutions and e-charging stations for private and business customers.

Baker McKenzie advised Norline on all legal aspects of the transaction. The team was led by M&A partner Matthias Trautmann, together with associates Hesam Mirzai and Daniel Jurcevic, both working in the firm’s M&A practice.
