Baker Mckenzie advises Planzer on Sifte Berti acquisition
Baker McKenzie advised Planzer on its acquisition of Sifte Berti, an Italian logistics company headquartered in Lainate (near Milan), further expanding Planzer’s network in Italy.

Planzer, which was founded in 1936 and entered the Italian market in the late 80s, is a Swiss family-owned logistics company. While its core business are national cargo transport and warehouse logistics, the company has been gradually expanding its reach in terms of clientele – both private and business – and international presence, with 79 locations in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France, Liechtenstein and Hong Kong.
Founded in 1969 in Lainate, Sifte Berti operates seven Italian sites with 300 employees, 40 vehicles, and 200,000 square metres of warehouse space.
