Bär & Karrer advises Duck Creek on the acquisition of Imburse

The Boston based company Duck Creek Technologies has entered into a share purchase agreement regarding the acquisition of the shares of Imburse from its founders and investors. Imburse is a Swiss based developer and provider of a modern payments platform for the insurance industry. Imburse’s cloud-native software-as-a-service (SaaS) payment solution is built for the insurance industry, bringing greater ease and efficiency into end-to-end insurance transactions.

As part of Duck Creek, Imburse would continue serving its existing client base and markets, while accelerating expansion plans for new clients across Europe and into North America and Asia-Pacific.

Bär & Karrer acts as Swiss legal advisor to Duck Creek Technologies in this transaction.
