Bär & Karrer advises GI Group on its acquisition of Eupro
GI Group Holding has acquisted Eupro Holding, a group of Swiss-based companies focused on the recruitment and human resources industry. Bär & Karrer has advised Gi Group, a company specialized in global staffing and recruitment through an HR ecosystem based in Milan (Italy), on the acquisition of the Swiss Eupro and its subsidiaries.
Eupro will begin a rebranding process into GI Group Holding, with the exception of BauTech, which is expected to be rebranded in 2024. Founded in 1997, Eupro has grown into two brands in 2022 (Eupro, BauTech), providing clients with temporary or permanent staffing service, with a primary focus on the construction and manufacturing industries.
With the addition of Eupro, Gi Group Holding’s strength its footprint in Switzerland and Lichtenstein bringing its total temporary and permanent staffing business to €120 million in annual revenues, in addition to its Jobtome brand presence, which has €35 million in revenues.
Bär & Karrer has acted as legal advisor to GI Group Holding in this transaction.
