Bär & Karrer and NKF advise on sale of Plastic Surgery to Affidea

The owner of Plastic Surgery Group (PSG) has sold the company to Affidea Cancer Treatment Centres. Affidea is the leading provider of advanced diagnostic imaging, cancer therapies and outpatient services in Europe. With this transaction, the company acquires the Zurich-based PSG, a unique centre for reconstructive breast surgery in Switzerland, creating the first centre of excellence for breast medicine in the country. With this major step, Affidea can offer a medical service that is unique: patients now have access to the full range of specialised breast medical treatment.

Bär & Karrer acted as legal counsel to the seller. The team was led by partners Christoph Neeracher (pictured) and Philippe Seiler and further comprised Elisabeth Rinderknecht, Luca Tarzia and Nick Aschwanden (all m&a), Susanne Schreiber, Elena Kumashova and Alessia Suter (all tax) as well as Fabian Turtschi (notary).
