Bär & Karrer & Baker McKenzie: Medbase on the acquisition of Zur Rose 

Bär & Karrer has advised Medbase, a group company of Migros, on the acquisition of the Swiss business of Zur Rose Group, an acknowledged operator in online pharmacy and pharma distribution. The online drug retailer has agreed to sell its Swiss business in order to focus on expanding in Germany. The proceeds of the transactions are estimated at CHF 360 million.

Baker McKenzie Switzerland acted as legal adviser for Zur Rose Group in handing over its successful Swiss business to Migros Group.
