Benjamin Gottlieb becomes partner of Schellenberg Wittmer

Benjamin Gottlieb has been appointed partner of Schellenberg Wittmer as of 1 January 2023. He has extensive experience in arbitration and is an expert in the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Gottlieb advises and represents clients in disputes relating to international sales, licensing and distribution agreements, construction and engineering, the energy sector, and the pharmaceutical and automotive industries. He also regularly acts as an arbitrator.

Benjamin Gottlieb regularly publishes articles and gives lectures on arbitration and international sales law. He is a member of the executive committee of AIA-Arbit40, the Italian arbitration association for practitioners below 40, and a lecturer at the University of Zurich for contract law, the CISG and international commercial arbitration and taught advocacy classes in Milan. He frequently writes and speaks on arbitration and international sales law, including over 30 case annotations on the Supreme Court’s case law in arbitration matters. After becoming a lawyer in 2016, Gottlieb has developed his professional career in the law firm first as associate and then as senior associate.
