Charles Russell Speechlys advises Dll in Geneva Country Club’s acquisition

David Lloyd Leisure (Ddl), a European health, sport and leisure group, has announced to have signed an agreement to acquire Country Club Geneva, the city’s renowned tennis club, currently owned by Swiss businesswoman Dona Bertarelli. The deal is due to complete in April and it will become the company’s 124th club, its first club in Switzerland and the second in the Geneva area after the City Green Sport and Health Club in Veigy-Foncenex.

Charles Russell Speechlys acted as legal advisor to Ddl in this transaction. The multidisciplinary team was led by partner Olivier Cavadini (pictured), and included associates Laure Cordt-Moller (tax), Christophe Levet (real estate) and Rupert Ramsay (corporate and m&a).
