CMS advises ProductLife Group on its acquisition of Cilatus

ProductLife Group, a multinational life sciences corporation with a global presence, expanded its footprint in Switzerland with the acquisition of a 100 percent interest in the Cilatus BioPharma Consulting and its Irish subsidiary Cilatus Manufacturing Services. The deal closed on 10 May 2023.

Founded in 2014 by Dr. Johannes Roebers in Sarnen, Cilatus provides services in the field of quality management, engineering, validation, and manufacturing of products for the bio-pharma industry. The company has a fully integrated consulting team in Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, and the USA. From the other side, ProductLife Group offers life sciences strategic and regulatory compliance consultancy, including pharmaceutical and biotech end-to-end solutions.

CMS Switzerland advised the buyer, ProductLife Group, in all aspects of the cross-border M&A transaction. The Geneva team was led by partner Pascal Favre (pictured left) and further comprised associate Audrey Durand (pictured right).
