CMS on the sale of Radio-Onkologie Amsler AG
Bamcam Holding AG sold all shares in Radio-Onkologie Amsler AG to stock exchange listed Atrys Health Group.
The acquisition is part of Atrys Health’s long-term strategy to create a pan-European network of oncology clinics for high precision radiotherapy treatments and scale R&D for hypofractionated radiotherapy. Being the first acquisition of Atrys Health in Switzerland, it shall allow Atrys Health to enter a new market and add to its existing radiotherapy operations in Portugal and Spain.
A team from CMS Switzerland led by partner Stephan Werlen (pictured) and including Alexandra Stocker (associate, corporate / M&A) and Dr Simone Brauchbar Birkhäuser (counsel, IP / IT) advised BAMCAM Holding AG on all legal matters of the transaction.
Founded in 2003, radio-onkologie amsler ag today is one of the main providers of radiotherapy in the Basel area and operates two medical centers in Allschwil and Liestal.
Atrys Health is a Spanish biomedical company dedicated to providing diagnostic services and medical treatments primarily for oncology patients. Its activity mainly comprise diagnostic laboratory, telemedicine and radiotherapy.
