MLLStart! advised Clinical Research Ventures in its investment in Adiposs  

Start-up desk MLLStart! advised Clinical Research Ventures (CR Ventures), a global life-science investor with a focus on companies entering Phase I or II clinical trials based in Boston, USA, in its investment in Adiposs, a med-tech company and developer of a unique diagnostic product for the non-invasive early detection of body wasting cachexia. 

The investment will allow Adiposs to manufacture the first batch of ImageBAT, a first-in-class contrast agent for brown adipose tissue detection, as well as to perform the first-in-human clinical trial. 

The team was led by senior associate Marco Fusi and partner Karin Oberlin (both transaction/m&a and venture capital, pictured above).
