LALIVE:Domitille Baizeau reelected into International Court of Arbitration

LALIVE partner Domitille Baizeau (pictured) has been re-elected as a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration for another three-year term, by the ICC World Council. Baizeau will be serving as a member of the Court (New Zealand).

Domitille Baizeau joined LALIVE in 2004 and has been practising dispute resolution for 25 years, exclusively in international arbitration since 2001. She has acted in more than 85 international disputes, as counsel and arbitrator, in administered arbitrations and ad hoc proceedings, governed by various procedural and substantive laws, both common law and civil law, including English, Swiss, French, American, and by international law.

Her areas of specialization include joint venture, M&A, shareholders, sales, distribution and investment disputes in the energy. mining, telecommunications, commodity trading, infrastructure projects and pharmaceutical sectors.

Prior to  LALIVE,  Baizeau served as a senior associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where she handled International commercial arbitration and investment arbitration. Baizeau started her legal career as a solicitor at Lane Neave Lawyers office in New Zealand.

Baizeau is a member of the International Court of Arbitration of the ICC (re-appointed in 2021), the Council and Proceedings Committee of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) and the Governing Board and Governance Committee of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration (ICCA), and Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Swiss Arbitration Centre (formerly SCAI).
