Bär & Karrer: EIC Fund invests in six innovative Swiss start-up companies 

European Innovation Council (EIC) Fund, an innovation fund owned by the European Commission, established to make direct investments (between EUR 500,000 and 15,000,000) in European start-up companies and SMEs, made investments in six innovative start-ups in Switzerland.  

Bär & Karrer acted as legal advisor to EIC Fund in these transactions. The team was led by Christoph Neeracher (pictured right) and Philippe Seiler (pictured left) and further included Adrian Zampieri, Elisabeth Rinderknecht, Lazar Lepir and Dominique Nguyen (all m&a) as well as Susanne Schreiber and Kerim Tbaishat (both tax).
