Elena Sevila: 5Gambit Disputes new partner
The Zurich-based international law firm 5Gambit Disputes hires Elena Sevila (pictured) as a partner to bolster its arbitration practice.
About Elena Sevila
Sevila, a renowed arbitration specialist with over 15 years of experience, specialises in construction, infrastructure and energy (EPC and other construction contracts, production sharing, operating agreements), mining, telecoms, technology, financial services and hospitality. She has acted in matters relating to agency, distribution contracts, shareholders’ agreements, unfair competition and antitrust.
Coming from Andersen in Spain, where she worked as a director, between 2013 and 2021 and later as a partner, from 2021 up until january 2024, she declares on her LinkedIn profile to be “delighted to be joining a highly talented, bold and sharp team to tackle the most complex legal challenges and provide outstanding results”. According to her LinkedIn, she previously worked for Araoz y Rueda, Garrigues, Lalive and the International Standards Organization (ISO).
She also acts as an arbitrator in commercial cases, both as a party-appointed arbitrator and as chair. Furthermore, Sevila also regularly acts as an expert in spanish law, representing clients before all spanish courts.
