CMS advised F24 Schweiz on the acquisition of SMSup

F24 Schweiz acquired SMSup, a fast-growing business messaging startup with a focus on the French speaking Swiss market and growing presence across Switzerland, Germany and Austria. The acquisition strengthens F24’s market position in business messaging in Switzerland and expands the customer base significantly.  SMSup Sàrl founder Romain Bossel will continue his work and play an important role in shaping the common future.

F24 is a Software-as-a-Service provider for incident and crisis management, emergency notification and business communications. F24 Schweiz provides the business messaging solution eCall. With this step customers of F24 Schweiz get access to further use cases especially in marketing.

A team of CMS Switzerland, led by partner Stefan Brunnschweiler (pictured), advised F24 Schweiz on all legal matters of the transaction. CMS France provided support in relation to commercial aspects under French law.  CMS Switzerland team also included counsel Franziska Hammer (corporate / m&a), partner Dirk Spacek, (TMC / Intellectual Property) and associate Alexandra Stocker (corporate / m&a).
