Schellenberg Wittmer and Homburger: Francotyp-Postalia acquires Azolver

Francotyp-Postalia, a stock-listed international active group of companies which provides digital business solutions, mailing, shipping & office solutions and mail services, has acquired all shares in the operating companies of Azolver Group. Azolver Group focuses on mailing hardware (franking machines), and in addition offers software solutions for asset tracking and parcel shipping.

Schellenberg Wittmer acted as Swiss legal counsel alongside DLA Piper, Germany, lead counsel to Francotyp-Postalia for this transaction. The Swiss team was led by partner Martin Weber (corporate/m&a) and included associate Elia Schunck, Anna Wöller (both corporate/m&a), partner Michael Nordin and associate Tabea Elmer (both tax) and associate Melina Suter (corporate/m&a and employment).

Homburger acted as legal counsel to Azolver Holding with regard to all Swiss legal aspects of this transaction. The Homburger team included partner Andreas Müller and senior associate Anna Peter (both corporate / m&a). Bird & Bird acted as transaction counsel to Azolver Holding.
