Henri Corboz joins PBM Avocats as senior counsel

PBM Avocats is continuing to expand in French-speaking Switzerland. The Geneva law firm has announced the arrival of Henri Corboz (pictured), who will strengthen the firm’s banking and finance regulatory and compliance practice. As new senior counsel, he will also co-head the white-collar crime department. He will focus on regulatory and compliance issues, as well as related litigation. His activities will also include litigation in administrative, civil and criminal courts.

The firm consolidates its expansion with the recruitment of a specialist in banking and financial regulation and compliance. Corboz has been appointed in mid-August 2023, with the mission to expand the firm’s range of services for financial intermediaries, asset managers, trustees, broker dealers and banks. To this end, the White Collar Crime Department has been strengthened within the firm.

With over 20 years’ legal practice expertise, Henri Corboz has recently worked as head of AOOS in French-speaking Switzerland, the SAAM’s supervisory authority for asset managers and trustees. Previously, he was responsible for EAI/FATCA/QI regulatory reporting at Indosuez Wealth Management. He also held the position of capital markets and trading lawyer. Prior to this, he worked for eight years as an attorney at law, advising and litigating for various leading business law
