Homburger advised UBS Group on its issuance of EUR 2.25 bn fixed rate senior notes

On February 24, 2021, UBS Group completed its issuance of EUR 2.25 bn in aggregate principal amount of Fixed Rate Senior Notes under its Senior Debt Programme. Such Fixed Rate Senior Notes consisted of EUR 1 bn in aggregate principal amount of 0.250 per cent. Notes due February 2028and EUR 1.25 bn 0.625 per cent. Notes due February 2033 under its Senior Debt Programme. The Notes are bail-inable (TLAC) bonds that are eligible to count towards UBS’s Swiss gone concern requirement. The notes are governed by Swiss law and have been provisionally admitted to trading, and application has been made for definitive admission to trading and listing of the Notes, on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
