Homburger advises Deutsche Bank on Varta deal
Homburger advised Deutsche Bank on a syndicated German law bridge financing of the battery producer, Varta. The deal will allow the company to finalize its current restructuring in the context of the German StaRUG (German Act on the Stabilisation and Restructuring Framework for Companies). This will support the Varta’s core industry, safeguarding jobs and value creation in Germany and Switzerland. Homburger advised both Deutsche Bank and the other syndicate banks on all matters of Swiss law.
