Homburger advises Liberty Global and Sunrise
Homburger is acting as the legal advisor to Liberty Global and Sunrise Communications AG in relation to the spin-off and dual listing of Sunrise on the SIX Swiss Exchange and NASDAQ. The transaction, announced on October 16, 2024, will see Sunrise become an independent entity, trading separately from Liberty Global, Switzerland’s largest private telecommunications provider.
Under the terms of the spin-off, Liberty Global shareholders will receive Sunrise Class A and Class B shares in the form of American Depositary Shares (ADSs). The first trading days are scheduled for November 13 on NASDAQ and November 15 on SIX, contingent upon Liberty Global shareholder approval.
