Homburger advises Medical Properties Trust in its acquisition of a 30% stake in Infracore SA from Bâloise
Medical Properties Trust, specialized for 20 years in acquiring and managing healthcare facilities, has increased its stake in Infracore SA to 70% by acquiring the 30% stake of Bâloise Group. This acquisition, which was announced on March 25, 2021, was already completed at the end of December 2020.
Infracore SA is a major player in the Swiss healthcare real estate market.
This new participation was converted into non-voting shares in order to maintain the shareholder balance between Medical Properties Trust and AEVIS Victoria SA (SIX: AEVS). As a result, each company holds 50% of the voting rights of Infracore and they exercise joint control.
