Homburger with Biotronik on VI business sale to Teleflex
Homburger advised German medical technology specialist Biotronik Group in connection with the agreement to divest its Vascular Intervention (VI) business division to Pennsylvania-based Teleflex Incorporated.
The transaction is pending regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions, with official closing planned to arrive before the end of the third quarter of 2025.
The parties
Headquartered in Berlin, Biotronik serves the medical technology market with a plethora of solutions, spanning cardiovascular, endovascular, and neuromodulation applications.
Teleflex is a publicly listed provider of medical technologies. The company holds a diverse portfolio which encompasses solutions in the fields of vascular and interventional access, surgical, anesthesia, cardiac care, urology, emergency medicine and respiratory care.
