Eversheds Sutherland advises Hoststar on the sale to Miss Group

Multimedia Networks, known by its brand Hoststar, has been acquired by Miss Group, a Sweden based international web hosting group.

Hoststar has been a Swiss provider of web and mail hosting, domain registration and virtual server services for over 20 years. More than 80,000 customers rely on its innovative IT solutions and services, mainly in Switzerland and Austria. Following the acquisition, Hoststar will continue to be managed from its location in Fraubrunnen.

Eversheds Sutherland advised and represented Hoststar’s major shareholder in all legal aspects of this transaction. The core team of Eversheds Sutherland consisted of lead partner Marc Nufer (pictured), senior associate Alex Schütz and associate Lorenz Raess (all corporate/m&a Bern).
