Kellerhals Carrard advises on Bruker Corporation acquiring Chemspeed Technologies

Bruker Corporation, a Nasdaq-listed company specialized in high-value analytical and diagnostic solutions at cellular, molecular and microscopic level, has acquired all shares in Chemspeed Technologies AG, a leading global Swiss provider of vendor-agnostic automated laboratory R&D and QC workflow solutions, which can transform R&D and QC productivity in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, chemicals, cleantech, materials, cosmetics and food. Chemspeed automation is used every day in top R&D and QC laboratories, setting standards in lab automation and digitalization. Chemspeed also offers compliance-ready workflow solutions to automate and digitalize R&D and QC in regulated environments, ensuring data integrity, traceability and quality.

The acquisition of Chemspeed accelerates Bruker’s entry into laboratory automation, digitalization and scientific software solutions in the life science, biopharma and cleantech sectors. Closing is expected in the first half of 2024, subject to regulatory approvals.
