Kellerhals Carrard: Indie Semiconductor acquires EXALOS

The Nasdaq-listed US company Indie Semiconductor has acquired EXALOS, a Swiss photonics company, specializing in the design of high-performance optical semiconductors.

Indie Semiconductor is a pure-play automotive fabless semiconductor company developing technology that supports best-in-class driver safety and automation, in-cabin user experience, electrification, and enables the pursuit of the uncrushable vehicle, while Exalos has developed and launched several highly innovative advanced products for the world’s most demanding application areas.

Kellerhals Carrard advised indie Semiconductor on this acquisition. The transaction was led by M&A partners Frédéric Rochat (pictured left) and Alexandre Gachet (pictured right), and included employment law specialist Cendrine Rouvinez and a tax team composed of partner Serge Migy and tax associates Brian Jurt and Regis Viquerat.
