Samsung Biologics’s makes tender offer to acquire PolyPeptide: the advisord

Samsung Biologics made recommended tender offer to acquire PolyPeptide at a price of CHF 44.31 per share. The tender offer values PolyPeptide’s equity at approximately CHF 1.46 billion.

In connection with the deal, Lenz & Staehelin advised PolyPeptide’s largest shareholder, Draupnir Holding, while Homburger advised PolyPeptide Group.

The parties

Samsung Biologics is a Korean Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO).

Listed on SIX Swiss Exchange, PolyPeptide Group is a Swiss-based specialized CDMO for peptide-based active pharmaceutical ingredients.
