Baker McKenzie with Cheyne Capital on financing for Nokera Green Factory
Baker McKenzie advised Cheyne Capital, a global alternative investment manager, on a secured asset-based financing transaction for Nokera Green Factory. The transaction, Cheyne Capital’s first asset-based financing deal in Germany, supports the ramp-up of Nokera’s serial manufacturing operations in the construction sector.
Nokera is a construction company that industrially manufactures timber building components for serial, sustainable residential construction.
The financing is structured as a loan under German law with characteristics of asset-based lending (ABL) and is secured by a portfolio of industrial manufacturing machinery. LB Oprent acted as operating partner on the transaction, while GLAS served as facility agent and security agent.
