MCH Group could announce a deal with the Murdoch family this week, Finanz und Wirtschaft reported, citing sources pointing out that James Murdoch could invest via a capital increase.
The report also said reservations about Murdoch and the political views of his family also give rise to fears that Art Basel could be moved from Basel to London in the long-term. MCH Group’s largest private investor, Erhard Lee, has already outed his opposition to a Murdoch deal, the report specifies.
