MLL with Arcium Association in $5.5M funding

MLL advised Arcium Association in $5.5M funding for decentralized on-chain computing protocol for encrypted and private data processing, bringing the total capital raised to a total of 9 million to further develop its confidential computing network.

MLL’s team

MLL Legal advises the Arcium Association on all legal and regulatory aspects of its computing network, including under Swiss financial market laws and data protection laws and the launch of a native token in connection with the computing network. Regulatory / FinTech / DLT managing partner Dr. Kilian Schärli (pictured) led the team, which further comprised regulatory/fintech/DLT partner Dr. Reto Luthiger ICT & digital partner Michael Reinle, regulatory/fintech/DLT senior associate Andrea Trost, tax senior associate Stéphanie Fuchs, and regulatory/fintech/DLT associate Franziska Gall.

Arcium Association

Founded in 2022, Arcium’s technology employs multi-party execution environments, or MXEs, which integrate various techniques, including multi-party computation, homomorphic encryption and zero-knowledge proofs, to ensure the security of computation on encrypted data.
