MLL strengthens its team with the appointment of 3 new partners
MLL strengthens its competition, corporate and m&a and China Desk competencies with the appointment of Renato Bucher, Florian Müller and Christian Rebell to the MLL partnership, effective 1 January 2022.
Renato Bucher (Zurich, pictured right) specialises in competition and commercial law. He represents undertakings in proceedings before the Swiss competition authorities and private antitrust litigation, coordinates multi-jurisdictional merger filings, advises on the implementation of antitrust compliance programs and on unfair competition related matters. Bucher main focus is on distribution related matters (franchising, agency, selective distribution etc.). He is also an expert in a variety of other commercial agreements, such as licensing, R&D, manufacturing and supply agreements.
Florian Müller (Zug/Zurich, pictured center) heads the firm’s China Desk. He mainly advises and supports Swiss and international clients in doing business in China and Chinese clients in doing business in Switzerland. Müller’s principal areas of work include direct investments, mergers & acquisitions, trade and dispute resolutions in connection with Switzerland and China. He has particular expertise in advising clients in all corporate matters, including m&a and private equity transactions, commercial transactions, insolvency procedures and international arbitration and mediation procedures. Müller is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators (FHKIArb) and a certified and accredited mediator of the Swiss Bar Association (Mediator SBA) and the Swiss Chamber of Commercial Mediation (Mediator SCCM).
Christian Rebell (Zurich, pictured left) specialises in corporate law and m&a, financings and venture capital transactions. Rebell advises international clients in the acquisition of Swiss companies in a broad range of industries, the structuring and dissolution of joint ventures, corporate and financial restructurings and corporate governance matters. He also regularly advises venture capital funds on investments in tech and biotech start-ups as well as start-up companies in their fundraising and growth process. Rebell also advises clients on DLT-related matters, in particular regarding the tokenization of equity securities and other assets. Christian regularly publishes in his areas of expertise and is recognised in international legal directories.
