NKF advises Capvis on a majority stake acquisition in SCHURTER

Niederer Kraft Frey has advised as lead counsel Capvis, the specialist in mid-market investments and a well-known Swiss investor, on the acquisition of a majority stake in SCHURTER Group. The closing is subject to (European) regulatory approvals.

SCHURTER Group, headquartered in Lucerne, with 20 subsidiaries in 17 countries, is a leading manufacturer of components for low voltage safe power supplies, input systems and sophisticated overall electronic solutions. The Group has been in the hands of the Schurter family since its foundation in 1933. The founding family and current owner will be retaining significant interest in SCHURTER Group.
