NKF advises Lakera AI on its USD 10m equity financing

Lakera, a developer-First AI Security Platform, has secured USD 10 million in equity financing led by Redalpine, with Fly Ventures, Inovia Capital and angels including the co-founders of Snyk, the CISO at Palo Alto Networks, a SVP at Datadog and the former CEO at Hybris as additional investors. The financing closed earlier this year and before Lakera’s launch to activate the world’s most advanced AI-based threat intelligence and Secure AI in the enterprise. 

Based in Zurich, Lakera empowers developers with the world’s largest AI threat database to accelerate the secure development of AI products. The company works with any AI model or modality and instantly provides enterprise-grade security for AI applications.

The NKF team was led by corporate/M&A partner Philip Spoerlé (pictured), working with associate Benedikt Hadorn (corporate/M&A), counsel Janine Reudt-Demont (IT) and junior associate Peter-Conradin Schreiber (corporate/M&A).
